We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Network Stack who can produce pieces of art in C. You must be guru in C and algorithms. You are able to take almost any piece of C code and make it at least twice as fast. You don’t wonder what data cache poisoning is. You eat excessive copy operations for breakfast.

Senior Software Engineer – Network Stack Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop and deploy the new protocol which should become one of the major transport protocols in the whole Internet
• Create pieces of art in C
• Push software performance beyond the boundaries of hardware capabilities

 Job Qualifications:

• Fluent in C
• Strong knowledge of and experience with algorithms
• Complete BSD socket API and TCP options knowledge by heart
• Thorough understanding of communication protocols: flow controls, congestion controls etc.
• 3+ years of expertise in developing high quality C code for Linux or POSIX platforms
• Ability to prove all ideas and defend all implementations by performing precise and informative measurements
• Libevent experience is a plus
